Come to Bodega and dance your cares away. Highway 45 are a ska/rock hybrid that are making waves around the country. Featuring key members of Wellington bands "Royal Rumble" and "The Pink Floyd Experience". Highway is one of NZ’s most predominant new live acts, with a lineup of career musicians, they have been described as a danceable mix of AC/DC, Sublime and Massive Attack.

Over the last 18 months Highway 45 have dominated the local Taranaki music scene, recording a strong debut album in Auckland and Taranaki, which is in the mixing stages and nearing completion. Playing to thousands at the Oakura Beach Carnival, Speigeltent and twice at the Festival of the Lights, Highway 45 is one of only a handful of Taranaki bands to have held their own on the Bowl of Brooklands Stage and won the audience.

Musicians of note, the band holds several endorsements with amp, guitar, drum and effect companies around the globe.

Highway 45 will be playing one show only at Bar Bodega. This will be an intimate afternoon drinks and dance venue where you can get up close and personal with the band and dance the night away.
