An exhibition of German photographer, Helmut Hirler's works featuring infrared, panoramic landscapes of the New Zealand environment. The use of infrared photography extends the spectral sensitivity of the film into the infrared range and exposes what is often missed, the invisible in a silvery light.

Helmut say's "To be able to work with the infrared spectrum exclusively, I have to use a filter - the so called 'black filter' - to block out the visible light spectrum. Consequently, when I take a photo I see nothing at all, and it is always fascinating to discover the results when developing the film".
