Helen Mitchell's photographic project illustrates an ever-evolving archive of contemporary tattoo culture and relationships between tattoo collectors and their commissioned artworks. The stories behind the tattoos are as interesting and diverse as the tattoos themselves. “Why Boba Fett? Boba Fett was my favourite when I was a kid. Well, he's got the best toys. He's got a rocket and a jetpack. And he's a Maori bro, he's Uncle Tem.” - Lizard, tattooed by Chris Bezencon, Eastside Tattoo, photographed in 2009.
