Heat Beat Africa

This year Heat Beat Africa is coming back to Wellington. for a big big show at San Francisco Bath House.

Heat Beat Africa featuring: Sam Manzanza, Carlos Navae Trio, Afro beat band, Rainbow Country, Congo boys, MC Lewis Scott jazz poet TK Paradza DJ Dozen and many more.

Presale tickets sell $10 at Kwanzaa, Trade Aid shop and Baobab cafe Newtown. $20 at the door.

Heat Beat Africa is collaborative musical collective featuring bands and music from the many musical Hotspots of the world. This show features members from cultures as diverse as Africa, Latin America, Pacific and USA and plays the many different hot, spicy and powerful rhythms of these regions.

These traditional styles are thrown into a melting pot with a measure of Afro beat, samba, salsa, funk, ska, Congo sukus and roots raggae music to create a high energy dance sound sure to get the temperature rising as the winter is here in Wellington.

This year Heat Beat Africa WILL donate all the profit to African Communities Council of Wellington so they can make community projects happen!
