Heart Strings Auction

The Heartstrings Auction is a fundraiser for the earthquake affected Arts Community of Christchurch. We will be auctioning 7 stunning handmade guitars that have been made from the wood from the historic and iconic buildings destroyed in the Christchurch Earthquakes.

These guitars are unique works of art and collectors items as well as being beautiful sounding musical instruments. But most importantly, the Heartstrings Guitar Series represents our damaged City, showing that something beautiful can be made out of something broken and that history is not lost, but continuing to tell its story in another form.

At the Heartstrings Auction you will be able to bid on the Guitars (bids can be made prior to the auction on Trade Me) as well as other fabulous auction items. All profits will go to the Arts Community of Christchurch via Creative NZ's earthquake emergency assistance grants.

The ticket price includes drinks and delicious canapés all evening and musical entertainment, including the last chance to see all the Heartstrings Guitars together and hear them played live.
