Deville Bio:

Mixing the spirit of rave with tropical heat DeVille is well known for seeking out the best international bass music for his sets cutting together grime, bassline and garage from the UK with sounds from round the world that have the same energy and intensity. He has showcased his sound across the UK, EU, USA and beyond. As a producer he mixes up the heavy bass and raw percussive energy of his DJ sets into dancefloor bombs that have found their way into the boxes of DJs across the spectrum from Mary Ann Hobbes to Starkey, DZ to King Cannibal, Rob Smith, Warlock Basement Jaxx.

He runs Senseless Records which celebrates its fifth birthday this year. In that time the label has searched the UK and far beyond for international heat reaching out from Warsaw to Caracas. Releasing almost twenty EPs and two albums of technicolour bass music from an extended family of artists including vocalists like Max Romeo, Warrior Queen, Badness, Foreign Beggars and YT and producers like Jack Sparrow, Starkey, Sarantis, Ghosttown, Phantom, Kanji Kinetic, Brackles, MRK1, Pocz & Pacheko and many more

Koder Bio:

Koder, is destined for musical stardom, with his debut mixtape Space Shuttle Business filled with catchy, thought provoking grime tracks all written by the young artist himself. Hailing from Brockley, South London the aspiring rapper was writing lyrics and emceeing from the age of 13. “Rapping was a way for me to express my feelings about the circumstances of my life at the time, rather than sit and cry I’d grab a pen and paper and start writing”.

In the summer of 2007 Koder featured on the popular track Where We Come From by the SE Collective, produced by Flukes of Crazy Cousinz, the infectious track achieved heavy rotation on Channel AKA and received a wealth of positive feedback. The success of this track and his other music started creating a buzz on the streets with a fanbase rapidly forming all wanting to hear more from MC Koder. The young artist then spent six months in New Zealand where he recorded further music and performed songs from his growing mixtape at a number of events.

Back in London, Koder camped out in the Defenders recording studio where he continued recording and put the finishing touches on his debut mixtape which was released on 14 April 2010. When asked what influenced his passion for music Koder says: “I am influenced by people who have made it within music doing what they wanted to do and not what they were forced to do”. Koder is now busily working on his second mixtape, Picture Perfect and is keeping the buzz active with his latest feature on I’m A Star, a catchy grime track which features 13 of the top MCs from across London. With growing interest from the industry, Koder’s future is looking brighter by the day, but he never forgets where he comes from and volunteers his time to mentor other young people. “There are so many negative influences around kids today, but music can be a real positive” he says. “I want to be recognized worldwide as someone who beat the stereotype and is making something of themselves. I want to be looked upon as a role model”. The future is certainly looking bright so watch this space.
