HBS Bank DIY Deco Weekend, in association with Napier City Pak'N'Save, runs July 20-22 2012.
So what’s a DIY Deco Weekend? Well, no hammers or sewing machines! We supply the basics of the Deco events – music, venue, bar and you join in, buy your own food and drink and enjoy the fun! It won’t cost a fortune either.
$50 per person gives you entry to all the events for the weekend.
This is a great way of doing Deco differently with a weekend programme that includes the following events:
Friday July 20
War Memorial Welcome - 6pm to 7.30pm
Piano Man @ MED - 7.30 pm to 11pm
Cocktails and Brain Food - 8pm to 11pm
Friday Night Hop - 8pm to 11pm
Saturday 21 July
Bertie’s Brunch @ MED - 10am to 11am
Fabulous Flicks - 10.30am to 11.30am
Dress and Process - 12 noon to 1pm
Afternoon Tea Dance - 2pm to 5pm
Mashtini and Magic - 7pm to 11pm
Radio Play - 7.30pm to 11pm
Hooch-Mooch on Herschell - 7.30pm to 11pm
Sunday July 22
Bertie’s Brunch @ MED - 10am to 11am
Salute To Charlie Chaplin - Noon to 1.30pm
Scavenger Hunt - 2pm to 4pm
Welax and Wind Down - 5pm to 8pm
