The Hawke’s Bay Today Country2Coast is a non-competitive family fun event that utilises the Rotary Pathways between River Road, Havelock North and the Clifton Bay Café. Participants can enter for a 7k or 17k walk or run. There are two start points and the start times are set out below. The event will be timed, but it is not a race and there will be spot prizes only.
17k event - Riverlands Car Park, River Road, Havelock North. Walkers start at 8am, runners start at 9am
7k event - Domain Road, Haumoana. Walkers start at 9:30am, runners start at 10am
The approximate walking time required to travel the full 17km is 2.5 – 3 hours. The finish is at Clifton Bay Café. The course will be marshalled and security will be provided at the River Road and Domain Road parking areas.
