Hastings Community Gala

Hastings Intermediate School is hosting the inaugural Hastings Community Gala. The gala is open to the public and is intended to offer our local community a wide range of quality stalls including hot food, fresh produce, clothing, arts and craft, gift wear, community groups, speciality stalls, student enterprise stalls and lots more.

There will be spot raffles running all day, entertainment and an area just for rides and slides with guest presenters including local sports stars, Mayor Lawrence Yule and MP Craig Foss.

A main stage will be the centre of entertainment with performances from professional bands, magicians and local school kapa haka groups. All hosted by our local hero Mr Henare O’Keefe.

The event has been planned and coordinated with the support of the Hastings District Council and will have a number of speciality stalls from community groups offering our community a fun-filled day all in one place.
