Hard Candy

This hot little outfit plays a searing blend of blues and country rock with elements of boogie and swing in the mix. It's a big sound with a whole lot of punch.

Bob Cooper-Grundy on lead guitar is a hot finger picker. A real deal blues man whose fingers do the talking whether it be on guitar, slide guitar, mandolin or banjo.

Karen Clarke's gutsy vocals and driving rhythm guitar make her a compelling front person. She is raw and sassy and has a strong emotive performance style.

Kate Marshall is a fine player on either violin, flute or accordion.

On drums we have Wayne Morris all the way from Taranaki and Warwick Hill completes the rhythm section on bass.

A great band not to be missed.

As usual we will be serving a meal before the gig and bookings are essential.
