Rotorua get your skates on and get ready for the Harcourts Ice Rink coming to Rotorua soon! Located on the corner of Tutanekai St and Whakaue St, the outdoor rink will have spectacular views of the lake while being central to the Rotorua CBD.
The Rink is 35m x 15m, which is plenty of room for Rotorua ice skaters, first timers and experienced alike to spread their legs and skate their heart out. Skating outside, on top of 33,000 frozen litres of water in central Rotorua is an experience not to be missed.
A Winter Wonderland Theme will be the setting for the Ice Rink as it lit up with lights making for some magical outdoor ice staking under the stars. The rink is covered by a half marquee, and is open rain or shine.
The ice rink is to be a central part of the Fire & Ice - Rotorua’s Mid Winter Festival. Events such as the Matariki Night Market, cultural performances by Waiariki and Mitai and The Undies Dash & Splash and just some of the events planned for this exciting festival happening June/July in Rotorua.
