A family fishing and diving competition based in Whangarei Harbour with fishing area including Bream Bay out to the Hen and Chicks Islands. Organised by the Whangarei Heads School and Community Library there are great prizes and heaps of fun for young and old.

Weigh-in is at Whangarei Heads School where there are children's activities, food, our unique fish auction followed by local band Stone Blue who will help us to celebrate St Patrick's Day. All in all it's a great opportunity for a fun family day with a chance to grab some fresh fish and great prizes, while at the same time raising money for the children at Whangarei Heads School. Tickets can be bought from the school and local retail outlets including Top Catch Whangarei (Riverside Drive) and G.A.S. Service Station in Parua Bay.
