Caryline Boreham / Gerry Copas / Frances Hansen.
Boreham, Copas and Hansen employ diverse approaches and methodologies toward making. In this exhibition they have the commonality of employing text within their practice. Boreham's photographs speak of absence, exploring historical traces and skewing the intention of the original. Copas presents a bold approach to forming and presenting word puzzles to be decoded at an individual pace, forcing the viewer to decipher meaning. Hansen rescues pre-loved landscape prints and responds to these with simple repetitions and placements of words, exploring history and sense of place.
The opening night is Tuesday 17th July. The exhibition runs to the 24th August and is open Monday to Friday from 9AM to 6PM.
