Special Saturday tour on 18 February!

Finding Flavour takes to the streets with its Mt Eden Village Foodie Walking Tour. Every Wednesday morning Finding Flavour will show you its home neighbourhood. The bustling historic village of Mt Eden in Auckland's inner city is packed with great food suppliers and makers, many of them family-owned.

We gather at the landmark Fraser's Cafe on the corner of Mt Eden Road and Stokes Road. After a reviving coffee we set out to explore the village. Our tour includes visits to a long-time butchery, a multi-generational fruit and vegetable shop, artisan bakery, tea shop, bountiful delicatessen and maker of gorgeous cakes. Tour participants will meet the people behind the businesses, learn about the food, and enjoy lots of tastings and of course, time for shopping. The tour concludes with a gourmet 2-course lunch with glass of wine at the award-winning Molten Restaurant.

Mt Eden Village is a short taxi ride or an easy 15-minute bus ride from downtown Auckland. Catch bus #274 or #277 from the Britomart Transport Centre.

We only require a minimum of 2 foodie guests to run this delicious tour!
