Once again the Akwaaba parties are back to give a tropical injection to Auckland's superb summertime spot - The Britomart Country Club. This time round with an extra helping of Latin American vibes in the form of the 'Fiesta De Casa' - a sizzling slice of Mexican house party.

Think of this as your one-night round-the-world musical fast track into some of the hottest sounds around! Direct from Mexico City, hot off the heels of recording her debut album in New York, and fresh from taking part in the 2011 Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid, Andrea Balency is one of Mexico's fast-rising stars, and the young multi-instrumentalist won the award for Best New Artist at the Indie Music Awards in Mexico last year. 2012 is going to be a big year for Andrea, and it's an honor to have her as part of the line-up.

Also taking the live stage is a band that's no stranger to awesome tropical vibes - The Ruby Suns. Nick D will team up once again with a bevy of African Percussionists and Dancers for the Yewala Soundsystem, MayaVanya will bring that exotic explosion of sounds that only they can do, and nicin' up proceedings is everyone's favorite Maori Princess cum DJ - Aroha. There aren't many parties like this one, and with exotics foods to feed the belly and colourful cocktails ahoy it's basically a round the world air ticket without the jetlag and having to take your shoes off in security checks.
