“In this series of images I set out to identify that place in my imagination that falls somewhere between desire and reality. A fabricated construction of intimate experiences and personalised landscapes. Images trapped between thought and reality. This is a deliberate and misleading truth that sets out to externalise, to paint a picture of a more hidden, spirit-based landscape. A personal place that is buried under layers of memory. These are mysterious, unspecific places that capture the fabric that lies underneath the obvious external landforms. A place where feelings about home rise to the surface and nothing is quite what it seems”.
