Restrictions: All Ages
Event listed by: The Suter Art Gallery Te Aratoi o Whakatu
An aphorism attributed to Shakespeare, “clothes maketh the man,” is the inspiration for a selection of art works where the subjects’ clothing and accessories significantly contribute to the ‘reading’ of the images. The exhibition has been mounted from the collection of The Suter in support of the Costume and Textile Association of New Zealand's annual symposium “Town and Country”, which is to be held at The Suter Theatre on the 20th and 21st July.
