F.A.W.C! –“Wheely Glassy” Wineries Ride Launch

Saddle up for an afternoon of Wheely Glassy fun.
Sunday, November 2nd is the official launch of the Hawke’s Bay Trails 'Wineries Ride' and have we got some celebrations planned for you, starting with fanfare at The Hastings Golf Course and finishing with a super party at Trinity Hill Winery, with plenty of cellar door festivities in between.

Bring your bike to the Hastings Golf Course for a 1pm start. There’ll be some live music and giveaways to set the scene, and after a few official bits and bobs the riders will set off to follow the Wineries Ride Trail.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a bike, Hawke’s Bay has plenty of cycle businesses who can get you on two wheels. They’ll even do drop off and pick up for you!

Riders can pick their own path but if you fancy sticking with the pack we have super duper cycling legend and Olympic Gold Medalist Sarah Ulmer there to lead the way.
Don’t set off without your entry form for the 'Trinity Hill Wineries Rally'. You just have to follow the clues as you go and then be at the Trinity Hill Finale party for the chance to win some serious kick-glass prizes.

There are fourteen wineries to be found along the “Wineries Ride” and to celebrate many of them have new releases, special offers and activities for you to enjoy on the day.

After you've supped and cycled for as little or as long as you like, make your way to Trinity Hill for the big finale.

- Free BBQ courtesy of Hawke's Bay Regional Council. (Served up by all kinds of celebrities and fun people)
- Live jazz from 'Men in Black' from 3:30pm
- Competitions and races on the lawn to complete the Trinity Hill Bike Rally
- Prize draws and giveaways
- Trinity Hill wines, various beers and soft drinks available for purchase
- Lots of Fun

The Wineries Ride Launch event is part of F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic. F.A.W.C! is a series of 'out of the box' unique food and wine experiences set in stunning locations in Hawke’s Bay. It’s a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and all the other clever people that make up the national and regional food and wine scene.
