F.A.W.C! - Fine Wine from the Vines on the Lime: CANCELLED

If you are a wine lover who likes to taste and “talk grape” then come learn all about the viticulture with Lime Rock Wines. Set in beautiful Central Hawke’s Bay, Lime Rock produces wines from their vineyard set in limestone hills.

You’ll enjoy a private vineyard tour with winemaker Rosie Butler and ecology expert Rodger Tynan. Taste examples of Lime Rock wines as you walk the blocks (weather permitting) and learn all about the grapes and vines before sitting down to a detailed tasting with some nibbles to keep you sustained as you taste. Every guest will return home with a bottle of Lime Rock Wine to enjoy.

Varieties you’ll learn about include Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Should weather be an issue, tasting will be done at the cellar door.
