Esplanade Day

Esplanade Day is back in 2012! Victoria Esplanade will once again come alive with a fantastic mix of live entertainment, activities, food, culture and family fun!

Esplanade Day will showcase a variety of community groups and local organisations, as well as local performers, bands, and dance groups. It is a great opportunity to learn and get involved with some of our local organisations and support our local talent, while enjoying a relaxing day in the park!

Live music on the Victoria House stage includes jazz, acoustic, pop, brass, folk and the scottish pipes.

There will be plenty of food to taste and stalls to browse, as well as endless entertainment for the kids- free bouncy castles, horse rides, amusements, face painting, balloons and more!

The Contractors Competition will be back in 2012, and we will have some great events run by Sport Manawatu, the NZ Defense Force and Freestyle Industries.

So make sure you and your family get down to Esplanade Day and make the most of this exciting event.
