Join us to create a collaborative artwork for a day. Drop in art sessions are held on the first Sunday of each month and participants will work on a different artwork every time. Suitable for the whole family- caregivers have to stay with their children but are welcome to join in!
Makedo monster build - 1 July:
Help us build a monster to keep Dennis the dinosaur company for a day. We will use recycled cardboard boxes, tape and Makedo (http://mymakedo.com/) to build a monster!
Live Poetry - 5 August:
Create a living poem on the walls of the museum's Living Room. Poems are alive! Certainly this one, where every visitor can add a word while the poem grows along the walls of the Living Room.
Go Waikato in our living room - 2 September:
Show your support - decorate the museum Living Room with Waikato colours. You are invited to decorate the Living Room with colourful dots in red, yellow and black!
