Beginners: Learn the techniques of observational drawing and what it takes to really ‘look’ and convert a 3 dimensional world into 2 dimensions. The role of line, spaces, proportional relations, light and shade will be explored. Classes cover line drawing, shading, portraiture, still life, and drawing interior spaces e.g. the inside of rooms (an excellent way to understand perspective).

Next Step: Former students of Glen’s Beginners class have asked for a “Next Step” class. This year Glen is offering further exercises for returning students who wish to build on the skills they have already aquired. Glen has developed further exercises for returning students.

Both groups will be taught in the same class. Note the list of materials to bring.

Tutor: Glen Snow, is a practising and exhibiting contemporary artist.
