Don Burnham & the Fern Frond Boogie Boys return to New Zealand in January 2012 for the band's second National music tour.

Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Don Burnham is best known as leader of the all star California Western Swing band, Lost Weekend.

Don's 2011 album release, I Dreamed Count Basie Was A Cowboy (Redoubtable Records RR99) contains a dozen original Burnham songs, including Don's "ode" to Aotearoa, the Fern Frond Boogie. The Fern Frond Boogie Boys are (Californians) Don Burnham, guitar and vocals; Charlie Wallace, steel and standard guitars; and (Kiwis) Simon Burgess, bass; Richard Klein, fiddle; and Sarah Duckworth Burnham, vocals.

Don and the Boys will be performing songs and stories in contemporary western swing and country stylings.
