Dog Training Classes

Our beginner classes focus on 3 major areas when working with you:

- Coming back when lead off the lead and techniques to get them back
- Not pulling off the lead when out walking. We teach you 3 three different styles of walking so you are ready for all situations
- Not jumping all over people.

Dog Guru dog training classes are the way to go if you are looking for excellent trainers and training and are for dogs over 14 weeks of age and fully vaccinated.

Our classes are small and our experienced trainer takes you through all the methods that we teach. Having small class sizes ensures that we can deal to your needs and work specifically on items of concern.

Having local classes ensures you meet people that you can walk with outside of classes and get your dogs together. Price: $160 for 5 week course. One hour per week.

Course outline:

- Week 1:
Sit
Down
Stay
- Week 2:
Wait
Come (all the time)
Walk with a mission (walking without pulling)
- Week 3:
Easy walk (walking without pulling)
Leave (dogs, cats, food, etc)
Stand (on all 4 feet)
- Week 4:
Heel (walking directly beside the owner)
Walking through gates
Greeting people & other dogs
- Week 5:
Roll over
Play dead
Shake
Test
