Discovery for Teens Wellington 2012

Develop a lifetime of self esteem, confidence and personal responsibility… Discovery is a powerful and incredibly successful programme that all teenagers and their parents deserve to know about!

For 14- 18 year olds, it runs in the school holidays in April and October each year and we are currently accepting enrolments for April and October 2012 with early bird discounts available.

Discovery will help your teens:

Discovery is a positive, high-energy programme filled with excitement, challenges and fun. It provides an opportunity for participants to explore their untapped potential.

Discovery is a seven day residential programme for 14 -18 year olds. The last day of the programme includes a one day parent workshop giving parents an overview of their teenager's Discovery experience and a chance to explore parenting and relating to their teenager.

Some results from teenager's post-programme evaluation show:

Discovery is a state of the art combination of natural learning techniques which enables people to learn quickly and retain knowledge. The programme is facilitated by key educators with the support of staff that complete three days of comprehensive training.

There is a staff member for every 2-3 teenagers.

Discovery Foundation Inc is a not for profit organisation dedicated to producing programmes which help people learn to communicate better; engenders self esteem and positive attitudes to life; fosters the development of leadership skills; empowers the family to work as a supportive and cooperative unit; and assists all involved to accept personal responsibility for their own well-being and the direction of their lives.
