An opportunity to consider the ways you can express mood, emotion and your own uniqueness in your photographs, for those who already have a basic understanding of their camera's controls. A class field trip at either sunrise or sunset, will provide an opportunity for you practice photography in changing light under the supervision of photographer, Mindy Catt.
Initial discussion of the work of some contemporary photographers will inspire you.
Then camera operations and exposure options will be briefly reviewed before you delve into advanced control of light, colour etc, which will be practised in an early evening sunset photo shoot (venue to be confirmed - likely to be Auckland Domain or One Tree Hill).
There will be homework each week, followed by critiquing of each other’s images. Mindy Catt (BFA Photography). Max 10.
4 evening sessions & one field-trip.
Starts Tue 30 October 4 x 2 hr sessions. One field trip early morning, Saturday 17th November to photograph the sunrise.
