Learn how to take professional looking photographs with your digital camera.
Topics include camera operation, exposure, depths of field, lenses, and accessories.
Sessions are a combination of helpful information about how best to improve your pictures by understanding the digital photographic process and critiquing of photographs taken by participants – lots of fun! Each week you will be set “homework” which involves taking pictures. At the next session, you will upload your best photo onto school computers for constructive feedback.
Bring your digital compact or digital SLR camera, the camera manual, notebook and pen and USB cable to connect it to computer.
Tutor: Tim Timlin, Bachelor or Arts in Fine Art
(This course is not suitable for automatic compact cameras with no manual override, and the course does not cover the editing of photographys on your computer.)
