Very rarely are New Zealand audiences treated to Wagner’s epic music dramas, here the timeless mountains bear witness to a famous act of compassion and betrayal. Full of love, infidelity, abandonment and incest, The Valkyrie features some of the composer’s most memorable music, including the awe-inspiring Ride of the Valkyries.
Supported by an astounding hoard of Valkyries, this extraordinary musical event will be cherished and remembered for years to come.
