The Winter Lecture Series is an annual free public lecture series run by the University of Waikato in August each year. This focused and relevant seminar series provides an opportunity for robust discussion about topical issues within the community.
Lecture three - Designing Sustainable Cities.
A discussion on sustainability in urban design, what’s important in rebuilding a city such as Christchurch and what Hamilton needs to do to enhance urban design. Also, a look at environmental issues, the University’s recent signing of the United Nations Commitment to Sustainable Practices of Higher Education and what’s being done in the Waikato and on the University’s campus.
