Dr Raymond Spiteri discusses the origins of the Surrealist movement, the artists and its huge influence on art, literature and the cinema as well as on social attitudes and behaviour.

Dr Spiteri is a lecturer at the School of Art History, Classics and Religious Studies at Victoria University of Wellington.
