A wine and food festival to remember!
A group of mostly Dalmatian winemakers in West Auckland are putting on a Wine and Food Festival to celebrate the contribution the Dalmatian/Croatian community has had on the New Zealand wine industry.
This promises to be a day of fine wine, wonderful Dalmatian cuisine, music and dancing.
Entry to the festival is free with a $5 charge for a wine glass to enjoy a variety of drinks. Participants will be greeted with the glorious sight and smell of lamb roasting on the spit. Two stages with a variety of music and Kolo dancing. A demonstration of Rakija (Grappa) making and sampling for those with robust constitution.
Participating wineries include:
Artisan Wines, Babich, Corazon, Fino Valley Wines, Kerr farm Vineyard, Landmark Estate, Lincoln Wines, St Jerome, Waimarie, Westbrook and Scotts Brewing Company. They will be offering their wine and beer selection for sale by the glass.
Enjoy a day of laughter, culture, great wines, beer and music.
