Phil Broadhurst and his quartet will debut 5 new songs along with tunes from his recent Rattle release “Delayed Reaction”, a finalist in the Tui Awards to be announced at Tauranga Easter Jazz Fest. The band features Roger Manins, Oli Holland and Alain Koetsier.

Three times winner of the “Jazz Record Of The Year” award (P.B.Trio- “Iris”; “Live at the London Bar”; George Chisholm Quintet “Perfect Strangers” ), Phil is also a well-known broadcaster, presenting his own weekly programme “The Art Of Jazz” on Radio New Zealand Concert. Phil has performed at major festivals in both New Zealand and Australia and his numerous credits include work in the U.S., U.K. and France. Phil also played regularly at Auckland’s premiere jazz venue, the London Bar, for many years, and collaborated with many jazz greats visiting N.Z., including Johnny Griffin, Ronnie Scott, and Scott Hamilton.
