The Crawford Fun Walk and Run for health is on again for the first time in six years.
The event will have something for everyone so it’s not a race as such. However runners can use it as a precursor to Round The Bays Run later in the month, or people can run or walk the 10kms (or less) with family and friends taking in the scenery and experiencing a different view of the Howick area, including Picton Street.
Because of Howick’s rich history, as an option, a local historian will lead interested walkers around 40 points of historic interest within the local area - a distance of approximately 4.5 kms.
After the walk participants and families can relax under one of the many trees on Stockade Hill and enjoy music, food and entertainment.
It’s a day designed for the whole family to enjoy.
Funds raised from entries go to Kidz First Children's Hospital at Middlemore and Coastguard Howick.
