Wintec Hothouse featuring Cornerstone Roots

A huge night of free music, bringing together a blend of styles that will set your smile straight for the rest of summer. Local legends Cornerstone Roots weave their magic, and are supported by an extraordinary line up of talent, who have all emerged from the creative hothouse that is Wintec.

Cornerstone Roots (9pm):
From deep in the South Pacific, Cornerstone Roots pay respect to the colossal world of Jamaican reggae, while confidently bringing their own influences and uplifting messages to the mix.

Their approach of classic cool and future consciousness has helped set the tone for reggae in Aotearoa New Zealand since 2001 when vocalist/guitarist Brian and bass player and partner Naomi-Jean established Cornerstone Roots.
