Pepe Becker and Helen Webby - "Life leads to death and out of death comes new life and love - 'tis the nature of things." Their enchanting programme - Love's Nature - sings of births, deaths and lovers' unions. Beginning with haunting mediæval monody it progresses through baroque, classical, romantic, 20th century and contemporary works, coming full circle with arrangements of Irish folk songs. Featuring the songs of:

Hildegard of Bingen, Guillaume de Marchaut, Henry Purcell, G F Handel, Louis Spohr, Robert Schumann, Maurice Ravel, Gabriel Fauré, Philip Cannon, Gareth Farr, Helen Bowater, Irish folk songs.
