Clayton Carrick-Leslie in Write About What You Know

Christchurch’s comedic prodigal son Clayton Carrick-Leslie brings home an encore performance of his 2012 New Zealand International Comedy Festival solo show, Write About What You Know. The show airs one night only, at Hagley Park’s large Geo Dome. Carrick-Leslie has been a consistent solo act in the comedy festival for the last four years, attracting sold-out weekend shows in both Wellington and Auckland, and strong reviews.

The show follows a formative year for Carrick-Leslie, having played pro line-ups in Brooklyn, NYC, and after engineering on-screen repartee with comic titan David Letterman on Fox’s Late Show With David Letterman. Locally, Carrick-Leslie’s profile has risen recently with appearances on TV3’s AotearoHa and 7Days,as well as TV2’s Comedy Jam and A Night at the Classic.
