Have you ever wanted to write or illustrate a children's picture book? Ali Foster (author) and Viv Walker (illustrator) are again co-running an 'Introduction to the Children's Picture Book' weekend workshop. The workshop, is a highly popular, hands-on and comprehensive course.
Find out about the recipe for creating a successful children's story, by looking at story grammar, characterisation, plot types etc. Plus students produce a storyboard, a dummy and learn about the publishing process. Post course follow-up advice also offered.
All materials supplied, including a course booklet. Suitable for beginners (adults includes 15 years and over), no art training needed. BYO lunch, other refreshments provided.
