This public lecture is the ultimate introduction to Buddhism & Meditation by its foremost Western teacher: Lama Ole Nydahl.
Lama Ole is one of the few Westerners fully qualified as a Lama and meditation teacher in the Tibetan Karma Kagyu Buddhist tradition.
He has been a major driving force in bringing Buddhism to the West, and to date has established more than 629 Diamond Way Buddhist centres in 44 countries around the world. His unique synthesis of modern style and ancient wisdom helped create the largest body of students practicing Diamond Way Buddhist methods in the West.
Always fresh and lively, Lama Ole's lecture will cover the history and philosophy of Tibetan Buddhism, the principles of meditation, and how we in New Zealand can practice Buddhism.
"We just have to remind ourselves that the source of any happiness is the mind itself."
- Lama Ole.
