In this weekend workshop we explore the connections between our breath and our heart. Weaving somatic enquiry, yoga asana and loving-kindness practices we will restore ease-full breathing, a calm mind and an open heart.
This will be a weekend in which to release into the organic soft support of the heart and the breath. Te Moata is the perfect setting for our deepening yoga practice - the beauty and spirit of the land, the nourishing and delicious food, and the sensitive kindness of the guardians who run the centre, all combine to offer a weekend of restful coming home to a natural open heart.
About Karla Brodie:
Karla has practiced yoga since 1994 and has been teaching since 2000. In 2005, she completed a comprehensive advanced teacher training with Donna Farhi. Since then, she has assisted Donna on various intensives and Teacher Trainings in New Zealand and Australia.
In 2009 she travelled extensively through India, then Nepal where she taught Yoga and English in Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries. Karla is inspired to share the practice of yoga in a simple and safe way to enhance everyday life.
About Neal Ghoshal:
Neal’s teaching focuses on refining natural movement and alignment principles - learning to embody these principles in a way that takes our spiritual practice into our everyday lives. Teaching in New Zealand and internationally, Neal brings a compassionate open heart to his classes and enjoys creating a warm and inviting space in which to learn, play and practice yoga.
