"Body of Clay" is an exhibition of work by established and emerging artists working with clay, from all over the Auckland Region.
Contributing artists are: Ann O'Sullivan, Carol Stewart, Helen Perrett, Jo-Anne Raill, Kim Rochester, Margaret Bray, Marilyn Wheeler, Mark Griffin, Merilyn Shuker, Michelle Brown, Michelle McKinstry, Peter Baas, Roy Burgoyne, Susan St Lawrence and Suzy Dunser.
The contributing artists have either graduated or are studying to attain ceramic and art qualifications through Otago Polytechnic with practical studies held at the Auckland Studio Potters Centre in Onehunga, which has been at the heart of pottery in wider Auckland for over 50 years.
This exhibition at the New Zealand Steel Gallery, will be an opportunity to enjoy the various styles of a talented group of ceramists.
