Blue Noise - Live Music Wednesday

Blue Noise is an acoustic duo combining the strong vocals of Alana and acoustic guitar talents of Geoff, across a range of blues, jazz and contemporary rock/pop with a smattering of original songs.
Alana's family discovered her singing talent early on when she would regularly lock herself in the bathroom to sing Broadway show tunes! From musicals, choral singing and even a formal madrigals group Alana developed a strong sense of the tonal and emotional qualities of singing and she offers a broad ranging mezzo soprano voice that is as 'at home' singing opera, jazz, blues or rock as much as belt-them-out-style diva ballads.

Previous experiences include lead vocalist in a Wellington Jazz trio, alt rock opera, wedding singer, even singing in Parliament!
