Blackpool Comes to Hollywood - Wurlitzer Pipe Organ Show

What better way to start our 2012 season of shows, than with the welcome return of one of the Hollywood Cinema’s most popular artists – Chris Powell. With several years as a member of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom team of organists, Chris brings some of the key elements of playing for dancing to his shows. Of course, a favourite for many is the spectacular keyboard-to-keyboard water-falling, synonymous with the Blackpool style of playing the theatre organ and best described as “organ console gymnastics”! Don't miss this fun-filled and very lively afternoon of music.

See "close up" on the giant screen, the organist making music on this unique pipe organ complete with its own percussion section of drums, cymbals, piano, harp, xylophone etc. All real "live" percussion instruments - truly a one-man unit orchestra.

Tickets on sale at the door on the day from 1.15pm - ages 10-18 free with a paying adult.
