Dr Alison Campbell presents a fascinating illustrated discussion that examines some of the biological curiosities in the animal world, all the while backing these curiosities with solid science.
Dr Alison Campbell is Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning); lecturer, at the Dept. of Biological Sciences, University of Waikato. Her areas of expertise include the disparate fields of animal behaviour and science education, with a particular interest in students' understanding of the language of science; gaps in student knowledge (and how to bridge them); and attitudes to the theory of evolution.
Bookings are required. Please contact William Yip on ph 07 351 7829 or email william.yip@rdc.govt.nz.
