Kaiaua will come alive at the end of the month as it hosts the ‘1st Annual Blues by the Bay’ Blues Festival & BBQ at the Bayview Hotel Kaiaua this 29th & 30th December.
Reknown International Kiwi Blues guitarist, Billy TK Jnr and his band the Groove Shakers fresh from a highly acclaimed Australian tour will headline a roster of artists from the UK and New Zealand over two days with the hotel providing free camping, buses from Aorere point and free entry for kids.
The artist schedule will include UK Bluesmaster Lil Goodsman, Blues Diva Petra Rijnbeek & The Dream Team Blues Band NZ, the big voiced JT & Banned, Blues Harmonica master 'Ramblin Rick Stringer', Kingsnake Blues Band and the Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute Show featuring Tony Painting and The Power from the UK plus more!
Bayview Hotel publican Kerry Mitchell says 'We are absolutely thrilled to have such amazing artists such as Billy TK jnr and some of the other artists here - we know our venue with our amazing beer garden and the music will be just incredible - the response already is amazing and we only announced it today'.
The Bayview Hotel will have tickets available for the public from this Friday and available from Eventfinda.

Star musician Billy TK Jnr sums it up 'The Bayview Hotel has an amazing garden bar and feel to it and I am itching to really rock the place - we have just toured Australia promoting my new album Blues Benediction and I want to really bring a great show to my own countrymen - Im really excited to be a part of such a fine lineup'.
