BikeWise Tararua - Pedal to the Pool

Sport Tararua welcomes BikeWise Month in February with the continuation of BikeWise Tararua.

BikeWise Tararua is a combination of four great events including the Tararua Mayoral Cycle Challenge, Tararua Kids Triathlon and Pedal to the Pool held on Saturday February 25 at the AMP WaiSplash Community Pool, Dannevirke and Cycle to the Cinema on Sunday February 19 at The Regent Theatre, Pahiatua!

The Mayoral ride will be a 4km loop track to finish back at the AMP Wai Splash with a free swim between 12pm-1pm for any child that Pedals to the Pool, plus a free BBQ lunch for everyone.

Registrations for the Kid’s Tri, which will start straight after the challenge, are now open and available from all Council service centres and your school office. Some exciting news is registration is now open for age’s 5 to 13 years.

Registrations for Cycle to the Cinema are limited; therefore, anyone wishing to come to a free movie simply by Cycling to the Cinema are encouraged to contact Sport Tararua’s Recreation Advisor, Natarsha Nikora to reserve your ticket.
