Dowse yourself in big summer beats with Rhombus, Bella Kalolo, Newtown Rocksteady and much more. Big Day Dowse is the first of what will be an annual Dowse event, plus we want to celebrate the opening of a new town square for Lower Hutt with a massive party. Headlined by Aotearoa's premier dub and bass electronic/funk & hip-hop band- it's going to be big!
There's a packed programme of bands, visual artists and incredible entertainers. Experience internationally acclaimed artist Michel Tuffery’s large-scale audio visual artwork, Povi VaSa plus high wire acts from Fuse Circus, dynamic street art from graf artists, stilt walkers, street theatre, storytelling, gourmet food, crafters and so much more. A big day out for all ages.
