Learn this exclusively choreographed dance with Sandy which is loaded with shimmys, finger cymbal layering, & accents.

Finger cymbals can easily be purchased on Trademe sites or through dance teachers Auckland-wide.

Currently being taught at the Silverdale hall in Silverdale on Thursday mornings at 11am, enjoy the convenience of learning this dance in just one workshop, then improve on it with a few Thursday morning lessons as an option.

Recently performed with a shamadan (Egyptian candle holder chandelier balanced on head).

    Exclusive choreography with Sandy (Lazuli School of Belly Dance) learning the basics of dancing with percussion finger cymbals / zills accentuated to beautiful and enchanting drum beats. Not only does this ancient and intricate creative dance form produce sparkling sound quality (making the cymbals indispensable to Middle Eastern music), the ability to dance and create music simultaneously is excellent for continued brain development. Beginner to Intermediate levels. Kids welcome
