Belly Dance for Fun & Fitness

Try out Belly Dancing in your local area, get fit indoors & make new friends! Ideal for beginners & dancers of all ages & fitness levels.

Vicki will teach you part of a 6 min dance in this 10 week course, using Southern Egyptian folkloric saiidi cane (energetic & friendly) & a chiffon or silk veil section. Fun to do, amazing to watch. Stunning music & there are always opportunities to participate in belly dance parties / shows with other dancers from around Auckland's North Shore & Hibiscus Coast. There is no class on 6th September; hall closed.

Vicki makes & designs her own costumes. She will assist students & help them make their own, & source out buying costumes on a budget via trademe & eBay, etc, & networking amongst other dance schools to swap, sell, & buy costumes & accessories. Vicki has a wide range of new & barely worn costumes for sale.

Canes are for sale for $25 each or you can buy them online. Veils also for sale from anything from $15 to $45 depending on the fabric (you can make your own).

Advance term fees work out to be $12 per class.
