Beginner Sewing 101 is an easy and enjoyable multi-choice series. Great if you got a sewing machine for Christmas, but don't know how to use it. Or you haven't sewn since you were in intermediate! Absolute beginners love it.
Attending part one, two and three completes your beginners sewing foundation, designed to cover all the sewing basics, as you easily gain more confidence, speed and skills. It's quick, flexible and affordable. You can enroll in one, two or all three classes.
Part one - Drawstring Bag 101: Can be taken by itself, and gets you started with the basics. Learn professional tips, machine sewing skills, marking, pinning, cutting, pressing, plus supplies/tools and fabric info. You will sew a drawstring bag and also receive a free drawstring pattern & sewing instructions to take home.
Enrolments 14yrs+ (12+ if enrolling with an adult). Absolutely no sewing experience necessary. 11th February.
Part two and three - Choose one of the following items to sew for each class: a simple custom skirt or apron or tote/carry bag or a cushion with zip. These classes also include a free pattern & instructions to keep you stitching. Enrolments 14yrs+ (12+ if enrolling with an adult). Prerequisite: Part one or similar sewing experience. Sat 18th & 25th Feb
