New Zealand sporting legend Sonny Bill Williams is set to take on 125kg American-born Aucklander Clarence Tillman III at Claudelands Arena on Wednesday 8 February.

26-year-old Williams has been training hard in a bid to take out the New Zealand heavyweight boxing title, and has had four competitive fights over the last three years - winning each one including two by knockout.

The highly anticipated Battle for the Belt will see the All Blacks star put to the test against a strong and high quality opponent.

The 34-year-old Tillman, from New Orleans, has a professional record of 11 wins, eight losses and two draws. That record includes a win over Richard Tutaki (William’s original Battle for the Belt opponent) in April last year.
